The Ford Fusion

The Ford Fusion is really a bigger version of the Ford Fiesta; it was a super mini that was sold to homes in Europe and even in India.
The Fusion is a special car that combines both an estate and a multi-purpose car into one. It has extra height compared to the Ford Fiesta due to the large roof racks it has, it also stands out for its higher ground clearance. The roof on the Fusion is higher giving the passengers and driver more head room. Really is a small MPV.
There is a modified version of the Ford Fusion released in brazil called a Eco Sport, this is also sold in many Latin countries, Its very similar to the UK’s Ford Fusion but the ride height it a lot greater, sports suspension and slightly different colored bumpers. There is a choice of engines that are a 1.0 turbo, 1.6 and a 2.0-litre Duarte petrol engines and 1.4-litre TDCi diesel engines with front wheel drive or four-wheel drive are available.
Ford has used the name Fusion before when they launched the Ford Focus in communications with contractors working on elements of that model's launch publicity. Ford did not reveal whether the late change to "Focus" had been the result of a genuine change in its plans, or simply a desire to conceal the real name from the press until Ford was ready for the launch.
Sales of the Fusion have not hit their targets but that hasn’t come as a surprise to some people as the car is a bit unconventional-looking. Some car buyers believe it to be a Compact MPV to rival the likes of the Vauxhall Meriva and Nissan Note, but it lacks the versatility of these models. Others have regarded it as a compact estate.
