Alfa Romeo 147

The 147 shape was designed by a guy called Walter de'Silva and Wolfgang Egger. The 147 was said to be one of the most stylish cars of its time and was later awarded with some styling awards. In 2004 the whole range was revamped to a newer look and the outside of the car was changed in a big way, it was changed to be more like the new Alfa 159 and Brera models, most notably for its angrier look.
In 2004 the 147 had a full facelist, this consisted of a new new front grille, new headlights, new shaped rear lights and the interior was updated. A new and more powerful diesel engine was launched and the suspension was also tweaked. In 2006 was launched 147 1.9 JTD Q2 version, which features a front Torsen limited slip differential.
There was a hot new hatch the 147 GTA built andf launched in 2002. The 147 GTA took advantage of a a 3.2 V6 engine, which produced 250 PS (247 hp/184 kW) and could hit a top speed of 153 mph. Its competitors in Europe include the Audi S3, BMW 130i, Volkswagen Golf R32 and the Renault Sport Clio V-6.
